& first off I remembered how much of the stuff you DON'T need!!! I remembered with my son I brought 2 VERY full small duffle bags... used very little items. BUT I also remembered... the one thing NO ONE told me to bring & I called a friend & had her bring by... A BOPPY OR NURSING PILLOW!!! piling the pillows just never worked for me... plus the boppy is GREAT for older kids that want to hold the new baby. Anyways back to getting the bags ready... I just wanted to share!

I'm going to put it in my car today so Its there and hubby can bring it up to the room after the babies are born. Thanks for the tip! Your right about it helping with the kids (I have two) want to hold the babies.

That is a fantastic idea! I didn't bring mine when I had my son and you are right - the pillows at the hospital never worked. When my best friend had her daughter in January she brought hers and when I saw it I just thought "how brilliant". Like you said, she not only used it for nursing, but everyone used it when they held the baby. I will definitely be bringing mine this time around! I wonder if it's on the list at the top of the expecting board because every mom should have that tip.

I am purchasing an EZ 2 Nurse twin nursing pillow from someone this weekend - I will definitely be bringing it along!

Actually, I am going to practice positions with some dolls in the meantime :rotflmbo:

But, practicing with a stuffed bear really helped me prepare for ds - so fingers crossed for the twins.

That is a great idea though.

In fact, I may bring the EZ pillow and my boppy from ds for when holding.

For moms who plan to BF, that is a wonderful idea.

    That's a good one.

The thing I forgot that made me miserable was a nursing bra. I guess I just figured I'd go braless (au naturel) since I was breastfeeding. My nipples were so sore! I did have nipple cream, thank god, but a bra would have been great! So I add that.

I had NO clue what size I would need... & glad I didn't by it in advance because my huge boobs just stayed the same size! Anyways a great in expensive solution is a nursing sports bra!! I think I paid $20 for it... but I have no clue where I got it. Walmart sells cheap ones for $7.99... http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5646147 you have to pick a size, but a sports bra has a little more room for error then a regular bra. Another great solution is a nursing tank like the glamour mom tanks... They have a built in bra. Not the most support in the world, but thats what I LIVED in for the first week. Target sells some that are only $16.99, & they are GREAT for wearing under regular non nursing shirts!

It just has SOOOO many uses! I am actually suprised that our small hospital doesn't have them since they are entirely washable.
