    Hi everyone!!
I haven't posted much since my introduction last week - I've been scared to get ahead of myself if you know what I mean. If you remember, at my last u/s, baby B was in a much smaller sac than baby A, and doc was worried and told us we would just have to wait and see if it caught up.
Well ..... we had our second u/s yesterday, and both babies are GREAT!!!! :D Baby B was measuring exactly the same as Baby A and both had strong heartbeats :D Baby A was at 161 and Baby B was at 151. My doctor says they look great so far.
With my history of miscarriages, my doctor says if at the next u/s (Nov. 1st) they are both still doing great, I have about a 3% chance of miscarrying. These next couple of weeks are going to be so difficult to get through!
We feel so lucky that both are doing wonderful and so relieved that Baby B caught up to Baby A. Now, I just need to calm down and relax!!

Jocelyn that is wonderful news. I know all about being cautiously optimistic as we did IVF for all of our children. Hang in there because the worrying never stops!! :)

That's great news! yes, finding out its twins really early is wonderful but hard, b/c the "what-ifs" creep into your head. But you are doing great. Take good care of yourself and nov 1 will be here before you know it!

    That's terrific news!!! Congratulations!!!

I loved hearing their heartbeats for the first time. It just amazed me that they were so freaking tiny (we found out really early b/c I was going through infertility stuff), and yet they still had these even tinier little hearts that were doing exactly what they were supposed to be doing.

Congratulations--I think you'll love this board, the people here are so terrific. It's been really great when I've had those borderline questions where I'm not quite sure if it's something normal or something I should call the OB about. Or just needed a bit of encouragement or a virtual pat on the back. :hug99:

That is great news about your babies! I had a miscarriage prior to this pregnancy and after delivering a healthy baby girl previously... I can identify with the fears and nerves. The good thing is that your doctor seems to be very proactive and with each visit things get easier. The beginning is rough after a loss and then you start breathing a little easier once you can feel them moving every day and then again once you know they could be born and have a good chance of survival. The inportant thing for you to do until your next appointment is to take care of yourself! If I could recommend the book, "When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets or Quads." I found it to be a good resource with great tips on diet ect. I will tell you that it can be intense at points, but it has a lot of great information... Of course this is the place I find the most comfort and have found invaluable throughout this pregnancy!

Thank you for all the congrats and all the advice!!! I will take it all at this point :)

I've never had a baby make it past 8 weeks, so if the next ultrasound will be a huge milestone for me if both are still doing great. I'm trying to be optimistic :) But, it's so tough at times!!

In the mean time, I will definitely take care of myself and these little beans. I can't wait to chat with all of you more!

I wish you some peace the next few weeks. Waiting is the hardest part!

    Hang in there. :hug99:

My daughter lost 3 singleton pregnancies before carrying the twins to 36 weeks. I have 2 healthy beautiful 9 month old grand daughters today. Hang in there. Take a deep breathe. Drinks lots of liquids and protein shakes. Try to worry as little as possible ( I ont say dont worry cuz tht is easier said than done). Hopefully there is only good things to come.
