I went to the mall to find shoes for my brothers wedding...... I was in JC PEnney and the worker walks over to look at the girls..... that is fine the girls usually spark up a lot of people ....... anyway i went shopping during nap time so that they would be easy to handle.... and it would have been had the woman not grabbed Elly's blanket and moved it from her...... Elly has to have her blanket to sleep already...... she just holds a wad in her hand..... its one of those teeny little blankets....... Anyway Elly wakes up screaming one because she had her blanket taken and two she hates strangers......

What makes anyone think they can reach into my stroller and move my babies blanket...... I literally jerked it from her hand and walked off....... it is hard enough to get that child to sleep....... Why in the world would someone do that or even think it was okay without consulting me!!!!! And then I was so worried about the last time she washed her hands (because she deals with shoes that people try on all day).......

    PEOPLE!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh.My.God!!!! I would have been SOOOO mad! First off, don't touch a baby. Second, don't touch a *sleeping* baby! And third, don't take away the blanket the baby is *holding*!!! Seriously what is wrong with people? You should have grabbed the woman's purse and asked how she liked it. I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope Elly was able to get back to sleep so you could find some shoes. -Leighann

Some people just don't think. I'm sure she didn't think she was being rude, but I never, ever touch someone's baby or their belongings without asking first.

With me, it's always the 104 year old woman with tuberculosis who feels the need to touch my 9 month old and then get right up in his face and cough. God love them, but can ya NOT touch my baby?
Sorry your shopping experience didn't work out. I always just walk away in situations like that before my mouth gets the best of me.

:aggressive: I think I would have yelled at her! Good for you for exercising restraint. :bow2:

I feel your pain for sure! We used to pull the hoods of the car seats down so their faces would be covered so people couldn't reach in and poke at them while they were sleeping. I can't tell you how many times people grabbed that hood and ripped it right back - waking them of course. Seriously do people THINK sometimes!

I would of been soooo ticked off. I think it is crazy for strangers to even attempt to touch a baby or anything near it. I would of laid into her. Ya wanna look into the stroller...fine, but noooo touching.

I guess we need "Do not touch stoller or babies" signs for the stollers....kind of like no trespassing. I bet someone could make some money off that ;)

The nerve of people never ceases to amaze me! I would never, ever touch someone's baby without asking, but people do it all the time. I hope you were able to find your shoes after all of that.

Didn't you know that twins are community property? Just because we carried them for a long time - unable to breathe, eat, move, go to the bathroom, and had horrible back pain, etc - doesn't mean that they are ours. If you have more than one baby they belong to everyone - right?

I actually got a little stop sign and put it on my car seats that pretty much said don't touch. What it actually said was, "Stop - wash your hands before touching mine." That helped some. I hate how some people have no clue when it comes to twins.

Those are great.... now they need to make one that says "I am someone elses baby.... please ask my MOMMY before you even think about touching me" :D

Okay maybe not so harsh.... but I would use if someone else does this to us
