The last OB appointment for the twins

Well, I have good news…there is an end in site. The Dr. says I am thin and at 1 CM. If these children have not come on there own by Thursday, July 5th, the Dr is going to induce. Mind you, I would rather not be attached to a Pitocin drip, I would rather they come on their own before that. I think it is better for them, health wise. Besides, I had already decided they would be born in June, silly kids.

Oh, I have more good news. Sometime in the last week, my son turned from breech to vertex! I’m not sure when or how he found the room!!! So, the C-section worry has dropped dramatically! My daughter has been ready for a while. She is in my cervix and not leaving until her birthday.

My mom is already here, so I hope they come, say, tomorrow. I think my mom is starting to go stir crazy. But, the contractions continue to come and go. DH and I went swimming last night, which was nice. I felt pretty weightless and was limber again! All this swelling is horrible! My thighs are hard and painful.

I just thought I would share.

Good Luck Amy! I hope all goes well with you I know you are nervous and excited since it will be your first. Keep us posted.
