The Happiest Baby on the Block VIDEO

Hey gals!

49 more days until we welcome a new baby girl to our family and I cannot find my video anywhere.

I was wondering if anyone remembered the main points and could refresh with us. I barely remember the first 6 months with the twins


I believe there were 5 main points to quiet the baby???

1) Shushing in the ear
2) Holding upside down and patting the back???

ARGH! I have to prepare as this time I have to sleep as I have to get up with the twins in the am

I know swaddling was one of the 5 (is it 5?) S's.

Oh, swinging, too! (never worked at all for us)

5 S's:

Swaddle
Side
Swing
Shushing
Sucking

So swaddle them up, put them on their side in your lap and swing you legs from side to side while shushing loudly in their ear and letting them suck on a paci! LOL! It did work though

 

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahaha!

Thanks gals! NOW I remember I am going to write it down so my pregnant brain doesn't forget again!

If you want a full refresher you may be able to get the video/dvd from the public library - even if the local branch doesn't have it you could try interlibrary loan.

I found HBOTB to be a real lifesaver!
