It's a stay at home lazy day today... wet and cold and SNOWY! outside.. but still one of the best days. This morning after our 11 am feeding I was laying on the bed playing with Austin and Miles and I sneezed. Both of the boys thought this was hilarious.. they're starting to get those big belly laughs. So I kept fake sneezing and had the sound of baby laughter in stereo. One of those little moments I hope I'll always remember...

    What are some of yours?

One of mine thinks it's funny when I make a loud swallowing noise. They also laugh when we play pick-a-boo.

I love the feeling of holding both babies against my chest after a night feeding and feeling their breath against my cheek...I would, however, be happy to reduce the frequency of those encounters! :)

....when Sarah was cracking up every time Rachael jumped in the exersaucer
....how the girls hold hands every time they lay down next to each other
....how they give a big long sigh and grin after they are done nursing
....when they curl up to my chest before I put them down to sleep and I get that feeling of being more "complete"

Every morning, DH and I go in to see the babies together. We take turns on who gets each baby out of bed.. and we each get huge smiles in the morning.. but those smiles don't even compare to the huge smiles they have for each other after being apart for 9 hours. :) It is such a wonderful start to my day. <3

I always loved to watch them snuggle together, they would rub up next to each and coo  Now that they are older, they'll give each other hugs and blow kisses, it's so nice to see!

Both boys said their first word, "dada" on DH's first Father's Day and a week before a 2 month deployment. It melted both our hearts!

    *Great thread idea!!

Two favorite times of day right now (of course there are many, right?)

    1) When they wake up in the 6 am hour I don't let them up until 7 or a little after so I hear them chatting...when I go up and ask "what's going on in here?" and turn the light on they just kick and squeal and are so so happy. Then I put them in bed together while I change them and they just laugh at each other and try to grab hands. It is the best time! It's like they know it is finally time to get up and play - these months are so amazing.

    2) When daddy gets home from work the legs start kicking and it is a fight to be picked up first. Usually they are sitting in their boppies and those arms are just reaching. It makes me feel so good since we went through a few weeks where they only wanted me. And daddy loves that moment too!

Ahhh...this thread makes me smile.

Awwww these are all such precious moments!!

Lately bedtime has been a dream - i get lots of dopey cuddles and kisses from my squeaky clean babbas!

I will never ever get tired of listening to my girls giggling - Ruby gets hysterical if you copy her so that is the new game around here and Amber just laughs for the fun of it
