Went right from my NST apt at the doctor's office on Wednesday to the hospital. I was contracting 4 minutes apart so things happened pretty quickly.

Breena Sue was born at 1:35pm, 5lbs 6oz, 18.5 in. Her sister Baylinn Dawn was born at 1:37pm, 5lbs 1oz, 18 in. They are healthy and perfect and needed no NICU time, which is just a miracle.

I was 36 Weeks on the day they were born....had been at the hospital exactly 10 weeks prior for PTL. All seems so surreal now.

I'm doing okay with the pain, think it's more from the gas from the tubal then the section. My feet and ankles are really swollen and I had some blood pressure issues that landed me on mag for about 20 hours after the surgery. They are just watching it for now and hopefully we will all get to go home tomorrow morning!

Time to pump....will post pics later!

    Congratulations!!

I had BP issues after delivering as well as swelling issues. I did not have any swelling at all during my pregnancy but it was horrible after! I was put on BP meds for awhile. My doctor told me that this happens to alot of women and once they have their first menstrual cycle after birth everything goes back to normal. She was right. I stopped taking the meds when my cycle returned.

The swelling lasted a few weeks. I kept drinking more water than I could stand and put some pillows under my mattress where my feet were for sleeping.

We all got to come home together yesterday. The girls are getting more and more alert and eating is becoming easier. It can be tough keeping them awake long enough to eat! Still impossible to believe that they had no NICU time.

My legs, ankles, privates are SWOLLEN and I'm shocked by how big and soft my belly is. Will it ever go down? Will I be wearing maternity clothes forever? I know as soon as I go out in public someone is going to ask me when I'm due and I'm going to start bawling.

    Here's a pic:
