the girls are here - came on 6/5

Hi!
Sorry it took me so long - it's been crazy! So her'es the scoop:
Lyla Elizabeth and Sophie Ruth were born on 6/5 (our anniversary) at 5 lbs 13/5 lbs 14 oz. We went in for induction but Sophie had turned so they did a c-section that evening. The operation went great and was pretty quick. thank god for the few extra days in the hospital - really helped w/ the breastfeeding (which is really hard).
The girls are beautiful - I'll post pictures as soon as I figure out how and are really good. Luckily my Mom's been staying w/ us and has helped us get an a schedule. People aren't kidding when they say "I hope you have help." It's been a godsend. I hope to get some sort of routine sometime. Right now I'm always just scared they won't sleep.
I'm moving around well - just some pain at my incision (thought the day after surgery was really painful). Dad's really proud of his girls - though terrified too. It's definitely a huge adjustment.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you and your family! It sounds like they are both doing well, and it sounds like you are doing well too... I had a C-Section w/ my first, and I remember the worst part being the first time they make you get up!
