The girls' 2 yr checkup...

The girls' birthday was last Saturday so we took them to the 2 yr appt this week. They stood on the "big" scale this time instead of the little infant scale, and they stood aganist the wall to get measured...my babies are getting too big!!

Lola weighs 29.5 lbs which puts her in the 90th percentile for weight (she has always been bigger) and she is 34 1/2 inches tall which put her in the 75th percentile.

Sophia weighs 28 lbs which puts her in the 75th percentile, and she is 34 inches tall which also puts her in the 75th percentile.

I think it's funny how they were exactly 1 lb apart at birth and they have maintained that up until now. They are both in perfect health and developing great. I couldn't have asked for better daughters

Oh yeah, I have a cute story (cute to me anyways! lol) I had both of the girls sitting on the exam table next to each other and the doctor was looking over Lola, listening to her heart, looking in her ears. Well they were both fine until the Dr. laid Lo down and she started screaming and crying, Sophia got a quivering lip and started crying at the same time...I think just because Lo was crying. Well a little bit later they were settled down and fine until they had to get the lead test, well Lo went first again and all was fine until she got the poke in her little finger, and they BOTH started crying again. I don't know if Sophia was just scared for her or what but it was so cute.

Awesome story!! Great weights!! They are the same height as my two (Clayton being the taller) at the same age. Yours have by-passed mine in weights though!! Glad you had a good appt.

 

that is so funny that yours are still one lb apart...mine are, too. exactly to the ounce...crazy, huh? Great stats...looks like we are going to be off the charts at 2 years if my two don't slim up some.
