The girls' 1st birthday pics, and Easter!

So Easter, my girls' 1st birthdays, and DH's birthday were all on the same day! So it was very crazy this last weekend. Of course the focus was on the girls.

Their party was purple and pink, with an Eiffel Tower theme. (I am a French teacher and their bedroom is done in the same theme) The got LOADS of clothes and some dolls which they love. We got them a rocking horse and the F-P doll house. When it came time for the cake Sophie ate a bit daintly but Kate smashed into hers. You will love the pics!

I can't believe we made it though a year. I know that having twins is hard when they are your first babies, but with their 4 year old brother it seems so difficult sometimes. At least he loves them and takes it out on me! The girls have been slow to develop, but that is nothing I am worring about. Kate is crawling and pulling up, Sophie can but usually rolls everywhere. They are such happy girls, it as amazing. We wouldn't have been so sane if they wern't so good natured.

Yes, and I didn't have much cake to clean up, she was really eating it!
