My son was positive this morning with the flu. Doc gave me a flu shot , not that that will help me now. Just wondering if any of you have had to deal with the flu while pregnant. Everyone on my street seems sick with it.

's I had the flu {twice <_< } while I was pregnant and it was not fun at all. There wasn't much I could take for relief and that was the hardest part. I hope that it passes quickly for you. It doesn't affect the babies at all, other then their momma is a tired, sick mess.

No, thank goodness. The flu is not fun when you are not pregnant so I can't imagine getting it while pregnant. I hope you stay flu free and your DS gets over it quickly.

Was I supposed to get a flu shot since I am pregnant? I didn't get one this year. Should I ask my doctor to give me one?

I had it at about 15 weeks and got so dehydrated that I had to have an iv bag of fluids. Keep as much liquid in you as possible. If you are peeing a lot less, call the doc and let them know. Hope you don't get sick!

I never get the flu shot, and this past Thanksgiving our entire family got some kind of bug.. it was only vomiting and diarrhea. I only got the sick part and I chalked it up to pregnancy then realized once the family got it that was probably what I had. Then the whole family got it again at Christmas.. thank the Lord though I did not even though I was nursing everyone else.

I am actually fighting it right now. My in-laws asked to see my daughter KNOWING that their son had the flu.... well we let her go over and she came home with a fever and all SOOO sick. Its been 2 weeks and shes still fighting it. A week for my husband and I trying to get over it. I was really upset cause they knew he was sick and still had her over not tellin us and got me with no immune system and having a c section in a week........... U THINK PEOPLE WOULD HAVE CONSIDERATION! Oh well sorry to vent. Its horrible though. Cause you really cant take much.
