    Hi Everyone!

Every M, W, and F, we will post a new thread with a different letter of the alphabet. In those threads, please post your favorite tips/advice, beginning with that letter, pertaining to the FY with twins! No repeats please, and be creative! You may post as many replies as you like in each thread.

We will be archiving these threads in the Parenting Twins Information section of the Twin Wiki! [Wiki]The_First_Year_With_Twins:_A_to_Z[/Wiki]

This is the thread for the letter Q.

Quit comparing your twins. It's not always easy to do, but they will each reach milestones when they are ready.

Q-Tips should only be used to clean the outer ear, never the ear canal. Johnson's Baby Safety Swabs are a good choice because they're made to not be able to fit the ear canal.

"Quiet Time" for older children who don't nap can be a sanity saver for you. Pack up a "Quiet Time" basket filled with activities that your older child(ren) like to do - coloring, action figures, books, Magna Doodle, etc. and set a timer for 1 hour. Have your older child go to his bed or the couch and have them play quietly (no talking) for 1 hour. This will give you a chance to either a) spend one-on-one time with the babies or B) relax a little if the babies happen to be napping!

Quilts on the floor are good for tummy time. :D

Quiet time is also good to have before naps and bedtime. Helps both you and the babies to settle!

Quit trying to have the clean, organized house. Enjoy your babies instead. This will be hard to get used to when they were born.

Quickly do as much chores and you can why they are sleeping so you can have LOTS of TS time! :icon_biggrin:
