We are in need of a few good First Year Moderators!

What is a moderator?

A moderator is a board leader; someone who is positive, energetic and supportive; someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about their board subject and wants to share that interest with others. Moderators keep Twinstuff fun!

How much time does it take?

Moderating the First Year does require time and effort. As a moderator, we do expect you to post on your board regularly and not just visit the board. Due to the high volume of members on the First Year Forum we ask that the Moderators of this board be active most days of the week. We realize there will be occasion where you will need to go on vacation or have things going on in your personal life that you may need time away from the board. We ask if you are going to be away for any length of time that you notify your co-mods or an administrator.

What are some of the Moderators responsibilities?

A moderator should post new topics, reply to others and welcome newbies. A moderator should keep their board flowing and moving. Moderators also keep things organized by organizing stickies and subforums for their board. We also ask that Moderators assist our Administration team by reporting posts that violate TS's Terms of Service.

We do ask that members are active on the First Year board before they are added as Moderators.

No, we would prefer that they respond on their own so that we know their interest level.
