I know awhile ago I saw some posts about people using the The Munchkin Inflatable Duck Tub for their twins. I tried searching but couldn't find the posts. I'm just wondering if anyone has this and if it is possible to put both kids in at the same time? They are outgrowing their bath seats and I like to bathe them together but I don't think they're ready for the open tub. For 15 bucks the Duck tub doesn't look like a bad deal but wondering if they'll still fit in at the same time. They LOVE bath time together. Any other alternatives anyone knows of?
i had the duck tub and used it a couple of times to bathe them solo, but IMO i don't think that they would both fit in there. or if they did, there would only be room for a tiny bit of water. i know some people love the duck tub, but it was too much trouble for me. it would be great for a singleton..
I've never seen it before but it looks so cute! Not sure it looks big enough for two babies, though. I bathed mine separately until they were able to sit in the bathtub unassisted.
I have been using the duck tub for a couple of months and I LOVE it! However, I don't see any way possible that it would fit two babies at once. If you have a big enough tub, maybe you could put two in the tub. I never tried or even thought about that before. I just give one a bath at a time. I can't wait to feel comfortable enough to do both in the big tub together, but for now this is what works for me.
We have been using the Duck tub since our LOs were 4 months old. I don't think 2 babies could fit in there. As it is now, one baby's body basically fills up the entire tub. I do like the tub for bathing just one baby. Hopefully in a couple of months I will be able to bathe them together in the big tub.
I had one very similar to this and put it in my master bath tub and was able to bathe both. It also helped them sit up a little too. If it's too slippery, put a piece of rubber shelf liner in it.
Mine aren't the greatest unassisted sitters and I just put them in the open tub with a rubber mat underneath. They LOVE IT!!! However when it comes time (if I'm alone, DH usually helps) to actually clean them I take all toys away so they aren't distracted if I'm hands on with the other one
We used the One Step Ahead Transition Tub and had great success with it. You can fit both babies in there for quite awhile. Definitely worked well for us. :good:
we have it too and like it, but we can't fit both in at the same time. they are 7 mos, and 22 & 16 lbs...
