they joined this world on sunday aug. 9 at 10:58 and 11:01 am. now on to the long adventure. i began not feeling like doing anything on thursday, i called the peri and canceled my appt. and he said come in on fri. well fri came and i slept all day with contractions every ten min. over night they got to be seven min apart, but i didnt think anything of it. well by sat morning i called the ob and she said go in to be eval. well i thought i was going to get an iv and go home. boy was i wrong.
they had me walk for and hour and then checked me and i had dialated from 1 to 2 so they kept me an hour later i was at 3 i was so excited thinking that this would be the day. well i stoped dialating at 6 and was like that for over 15 hrs. my little guys wouldnt be still so i had to lay in the same position for hours uncomfortable. but any ways, sunday morning came around and the nurse tells me my doctor is going to be in to break my water. well she comes in breaks the water then does and ultrasound....
baby b flipped and turned breach, he had been head down for months. i was rushed to the or for what seemed like an emergency c-section. it happened so fast.
after being cut open the boys went off to the nicu for breathing problems, and being born at 36 weeks. one had jaundce and the other lost too much weight.
i am glad to say that they let them come home on day 5 and it is now only day 9 i am very tired.

i will suggest that anyone who is still preg. prepare yourself because i did not think that i would have to go to the nicu. i was not able to see my boys until they were 3 days old because i couldnt keep anything down. my milk came in very late day 7. also if the nurses say that your lo will get better faster if you allow them to supplement with formula go for it. i believe that is how they came home so quickly and i am not a fan of formula at all. i just knew what would be best for them at that time. now they are fully breast fed.
