The cutest thing

We switched them to toddler beds last within the last week. They do great at night, never climbed out, except when they fell out. Nap times are another story, they dont' want to stay in bed. But anyway. We put them to bed tonight. I went in to check on them cause I heard they moving around, and here Dakota climbed into bed with Logan and was laying with him. We moved him back over to his bed, and about a minute later I heard him fussing. Here he was trying to climb back into bed with Logan. They haven't slept in the same bed since we moved them from our room to their own at like 5 months old. they are 20 months now. I just think it is the cutest thing! I don't know if I should move Dakota back now that he is asleep or just leave him in there with his brother. I think if they do the same tomorrow night I am just going to take the crib/toddler beds down and put the mattresses next to each other on the floor...what do you think? Am I asking for trouble letting them sleep together?

I don't think your asking for trouble. My boys still sleep in one big bed and if I tried to seperate them, they wouldn't be happy.

when we switched the girls to toddler beds they used to sleep together also, for a long time the couldn't sleep apart from each other, then after awhile they just started sleeping in their own beds apart from each other.
now they are almost 5 and they are still in toddler beds 9they are peanuts and aren't tall enough yet for twin size beds) and now we usually find Anya asleep with her pillow and head where her feet should be, so she can go to sleep looking at her sister (because the toddler beds have the half railing on the beds)

 

Keri, sounds so :wub: sweet to me!! I guess I would let it be until one was being disturbed by the other. But I don't know anything about it because I am not there yet....PICTURE!!

 

Awww! That is so sweet! It reminds me of just last week I went on vacation to my mom's and she had a little crib (tiny antique one) and I brought the co-sleeper, so that's where the twins slept. But Michael crawled up and over and ended up in the co-sleeper with Mikayla. They were so cute..but talking talking talking the night away, so I had to separate them again.

Well we took the crib/toddler beds down, so the mattresses on are the floor. We put them right next to eachother so they can sleep by eachother now. It is so adorable. Once I can get on here long enough to figure out how to post pics I will. I love that they show affection toward each other now. I had to laugh cause I went in to check on them cause I heard Logan talking. Dakota was laying down and logan was on his side with his head resting on his hand (elbow holding his head up) chatting with Dakota. I guess he was telling him a bed time story or something. Couldn't understand what he was saying. lol

That is just too sweet!

I put the girls mattresses on the floor next to each other because they had been climbing out of their beds...I don't think they've slept on a mattress for a week. I keep finding them with their pillows on the floor!
