The boys aren't moving much

Whenever my sleep patterns get "off" it seems that I don't feel the boys move as much. I do feel them wriggling around sometimes, and I think they are running out of room now at 33 weeks, but is it normal for their typical sleep/wake patterns to change when I sleep in? Typically my husband goes to work by 6, so we get up around 5. This morning he had an appointment just a few miles from home at 9 so we slept until 7:30 (heaven!), and I've noticed that they aren't moving now, when normally they would be fairly active around 11-noon. But if I prod and poke, they poke back.

    What are you all experiencing?

For me, by the time I was 33 wks along, I couldn't feel much unless Anni kicked my bladder -- ouch! They run out of room there towards the end, so it makes sense to me that you don't feel them as much.

Thanks ladies. I think maybe they are so squooshed, they can't move a lot.

I swear, yesterday, I had my hand on my belly and I think I felt toes...

I don't feel my girls move as much now either, and having for several weeks- but get those monitors on them, and boy do they ever go nuts
I know on my ultrasound yesterday they looked so squished! I am sure they are just running out of room. I do know too that my girls are awake ALOT at night too, so you may be "sleeping" through some of it!

Thanks, I am feeling the same way. They have slowed down at this week, 28 weeks. The only kick when I have a decaf coffee, which is rare ! :D

When I threw my SIL a wedding shower when I was about 6 months I think, I had decreased movement. I went in and they have me an ultrasound and it turns out they were facing each other, hitting and kicking each other. We saw one of them whallop the other one good. Of course the night of the ultrasound they turned again and I could feel them more regularly. Yes, they are running out of room. As long as you can feel them move. My doctor was not concerned about baby kick counts at all, esp. with twins.
