The Babies are Here!

Hello everyone I gave birth to two girls on Monday, at 36 weeks 1 day. Vaginal delivery, baby A was frank breech, 10:59 am, 4 lbs 8 oz, baby B vertex, 11:11 am and 5 lbs even. I don't think they are identical. They are in the NICU, we are not sure when they are getting out yet Baby A's name is Chana and Baby B's name is Chaya Mushka. (In both names 'Ch' is pronounced as the guttural hebrew sound) Will post more when I have time and energy

 

Congrats! It's hard to tell if they are ID right off the bat, they may look more alike as they get older. Love their names! Hopefully their NICU stay will be short lived.

Congratulations on your baby girls! I hope they will come home soon. I realized your older daugher is 3 weeks older than my twins, so I can imagine it would be an adjustment to have her plus the twins. Good luck!

Thank you everyone!! I am so tired from running from the nicu to my older daughter and back that I can't really string a whole story together, but someday soon I would like to share the birthu story because it was pretty crazy and I learned some lessons I wish I had known before. We are tentatively hoping they will get out the end of this week or beginning of next.

 

Congrats! Hope your nicu stay is short and uneventful! I remember those rides to and from the nicu....so tough! Hang in there and use the time to recoup a bit and getting more prepared for your girls!

Thank you everyone! Finally started writing the birthstory, will share soon . We are inching our way out of nicu, they should both be in open cribs by tomorrow sometime, but both are having feeding problems. Sigh. I couldn't wait for them to come out and now I wish they were still in there, happily floating around and without any of these issues.

congrats! Hopefully the food fairy comes for you soon - that's what they called it at our NICU.. the girls went in a few days from having trouble feeding to just getting it, almost like magic. It seemed like we went from maybe a few weeks to being released in a day or two overnight! When it clicks, it just clicks.
