A couple of nights ago my twin boy woke around 3 am and we fed him. Then at around 5 am I heard a crying baby and asked my dh what time it was, and he said 5. I said "There is no way we're feeding him again, let him cry" ... and then he said "It's not Felix, it's Maxine ...". Oh, well after 11 hours sleep she can have a bottle, I guess ... [IMG].

Felix is in our walkin closet (it's not as bad as it sounds) and Maxine is in the nursery, so it was actually the baby monitor, but still ... [IMG]

[IMG] We do that all the time "which one is it" sometimes you can tell easily and then when you are so sleepy, you can't tell!! [IMG]

I totally thought about using my walk-in closet!! Great place!

Mine are in the same room, cribs side by side....and sometimes, even when I am standing right there at the cribs in the middle of the night...I have to walk to each side to figure out WHO IS CRYING!!

(I too put one in the walk in closet every now and then...and when I do, it is almost like there is an echo, and it sounds like the monitor, not the closet baby!)

No, because some walkin closets are as big as rooms!

Yep... I never knew which was waking until I saw them... yep, that is twin mommyhood!

I go by outfits. One morning I dressed the boys in the wrong outfits, and didn't discover it till lunchtime. I had to check to see which one had a scar on his chest. What's worse, the realtor was with me, and had got it right. Soooo embarassing.

I am bad about that!!! esp. when they are in their carseats right behind me!! I have even argued w/ my son about which baby it was - and he was right!!

How about when you change the same baby's diaper twice, but not the other baby?? I did that 2 nights ago; in my sleepless haze I thought I'd picked up Ainsley; but I must not have because 12 hours later the poor little kid had complete soaked her clothes, blanket, crib....
I usually try to put them on "their" side of the bassinet so I don't get confused at night, but it doesn't always work out!
