Thanks Mom

So now that I am pregnant with twins my mom has this huge desire to get together all the time. (My husband and I lived with her for 4 yrs, about 3 1/2 yrs ago.) So it's not like we are not close, it's just lately since I have alot more free time (not working my 3rd job or having school for the summer) she just tries to see me more. I think it's kinda sweet.
Anyway, when my hubby went to work on Monday, we decided to go to Margarita's for apps and share a dinner and the waitress brings us to a booth. She puts down our menus and my mom says, "Can you fit in that seat? " HELLO???
She a little on the heavy side and I say, "I dunno, can you?" This is my mother! It's a good thing I love her, if it were a stranger I may have slapped them.

Ah, gotta love Mom's huh.

 

Thats funny. We've been to a few restaurants where it's a pretty close fit. Another month and I don't think I'll fit in the booths!

 

HAHAAHA!! Nice.

 

Just like mom to say that!! Although DH and I recently went out to a Mexican restaurant and I didn't fit in the booth, how embarrassing to have to ask for a different seat!!

 

heh...last night we went to the Texas Roadhouse and I was barely able to squeeze the belly into a booth :blush: I love Margaritas...yummo!

 

There are a lot of places that i cant fit into the booth. I make fun of myself though..

 

When I was on hospital bedrest, when I hit 28 weeks I was finally allowed out of my room for a very short time. ROAD TRIP! My cousin was visiting me, so we decided to go the cafeteria (exciting, I know, but atleast it was out of my room). When we got there, we ordered some food and proceeded to the little booths they had there. And long and behold I couldn't fit in them, it was SO embarrassing! In my hospital getup in a wheelchair, trying to squish into a booth. Needless to say, I had to eat sitting in my wheelchair.

We just went to Texas Roadhouse today and I was lucky to be able to fit into the booth too. In a month or so, fitting into the booth won't even be an option.
