There is nothing as comforting during the first exhausting weeks of having a newborn as coming here and reminding myself of what life was like with twinfants!!!! I'm tired and cranky right now, but it's nowhere near the 'I want to hit my head against the wall' twinsanity I remember when my twins were born! And I remember that it really does go quickly.... if only life had a fastforward button...and a pause button!!

LOL! Your post made me laugh. I've actually been reading this forum today because I miss the 1st year already and my "baby" is only 17 months old! The part I bolded is what I wish for.:) Thanks 1st year ladies for letting me be sappy & reminiscent in your forum (must be the pregnancy hormones- but I'm gonna get to do a 1st year again so WOOHOO!!!).

I have only been doing this twin thing since June 09 but I thank myself that a) my twins were born healthy and happy. b) that the colic times are over and c) that I get to stay home with my awesome twins and watch them grow. I will admit it has been hard a few times but to see them laugh and the silliest things I do like sing and dance or to see them progress with age and time is just amazing to see. I hope you newborn brings you joy and happiness like your other kids have.
