Terrified

I'm totally freaking out! (It doesn't help I've been having nightmares about daycare).
This morning I found what looks like little blood blisters on my son's penis. I can't imagine what they are from.

Has anyone expereinced anything like this...I really don't want to panic...they don't seem painful and he's not bothered by them...but i can't tell you my shock after changing his diaper...

please, any advice????

It would be hard not to panick-
I dont know what could cause those, I think maybe you should let the pedi know and check him out.
If you are having concerns about daycare, regardless if they have anything to do with these blood blister I would try to find a place where you feel comfortable ASAP.

I just had DH look, and he thinks it could be the carseat??? I never heard of such a thing. I'm going to call pedi first thing Monday morning.

I feel a bit better, but what a panick to see. ugh! The amount of worry i have for these guys overwhelms me sometimes.
I'm sure daycare is fine, it's just not a good fit. But maybe my mind feels differently with all the nightmares lately!

We are taking care of daycare, I'm going to work weekends, so we can eliminate daycare altogether. I have an interview Monday that looks promising...keep your fingers crossed for me.

I would say to get the pedi to have a look, I have 4 boys and never encountered this before. It would be worth checking out

I agree to have the pedi take a look. My son was getting little blisters-pimply looking things (not blood ones) around the area where the diaper edge met the skin & we switched the brand and he has not had a problem since. Good luck with the job interview!

 

Are they only on his penis? If they are all over his diaper area, I would guess that maybe they are a yeast diaper rash, which you would need a cream from your doctor for anyway. I guess they could only be on his penis too? Let us know what it turns out to be.
