terrible cold

I don't know what to do feel better. I drink the lemon tea with honey, halls, but today I wake up and i can't talk. I don't wanna go to emergency room, because I don't have any fever, just sore throat and sinus!!!!
I am going to try to call my primary care doctor tomorrow and see what she said!!!!

I am so worried if this can harm the babies!!!!

 

It's probably a harmless cold virus..unfortunately when you're pregnant your immune system is lowered, so you're vulnerable to everything under the sun! It just sucks because you can't take all the wonderful drugs you'd normally take for a cold. Try a humidifier in your room to ease the sinus congestion and sleep propped up a little. Hopefully you're feeling better right away, and if you're still worried tomorrow give the doctor a call. It can't hurt

 

THere are some things you can take. I would call your OB who is on call and have them tell you what you can take. I wouldn't put it off till tomorrow. That is what they are there for. Hope you feel better soon. Get lots of rest.

 

:hug: I'm sorry you are feeling bad. I know you can take Tylenol and I believe you can take Sudafed (plain, no letters after it, but double check just to be sure). Sudafed would help your sinuses. :hug:

 

Thank you so much for the help. I was for calling my OB, but my husband was saying they will laught because it is just a cold.

My worry is I have momo-di twins, and the doctor said that I have to stop working soon, and since i have some cough in the morning, I feel some pressure in my belly everytime I cough, that's why I am afraid something could hrm the babies or the placenta!

Anyway I am going to call him and see what he said!

I am working right now, but I alredy told my boss probably I will stay home this week. First my babies and then the work!

 

Colds suck when you are pregnant. :hug: But Amy is right, there are OTC things you can take. Give the doc a call or see if they have the info on their website. There is someone there to answer calls for a reason- it's ok.

 

i already call my OB. He will stay bed rest, I can take sudafed and tylenol. So this week, I don't work until I feel better!
