So, my little ones turned 2 on January 27. Things have been good-- my two have always been pretty content, easy going kids, not too much drama and generally easy to be around.

Fast forward to today and my darling son turned into a terror! [IMG] I pick the kids up from my moms after work and I can tell she was happy to see them go today! The report I got from her was Blake destroyed the bathroom in a matter of seconds- whole roll of toilet paper and kleenex emptied into the toilet. (She was changing Katelyn's diaper) Dumped his entire lunch onto the floor (PBJ, applesauce, chewed up cheese!). Was having a snack with my mom and decided to spit his milk all over her, and apparently had tantrum after tantrum when he didn't get his way.

So needless to say grandma was not happy that she had to give him his first timeout at her house! [IMG]

Tonight wasn't much better with me as during bathtime he bit Katelyn and literally had the most devlish smirk on his face like he really meant to do it on purpose!

So is this beginning of the end or just happened to be "one of those days?" [IMG]

Well I want to give you hope, but I can't. Ryan has been the same since Christmas Day. Everyday we have tantrum after tantrum. I try to ignore it so that I don't feed into the behavior, but I have to admit it drives me crazy. Anything can set him off. He's horrible at time out. I have to resort to putting him in the pack-n-play and he lifts his leg as if to climb out. I have to keep telling him to put his leg down. [IMG] I've ordered Magic 1-2-3 in the hopes that it will help me deal with the behavior. It should arrive tomorrow so I'll tell you if I have any success.

Sorry, no advice here. Mine are the same way. Even H who has always been so easy-going. They will be fine, happy as can be and then "something" (ANYTHING) will set them off and they will whine and cry for an hour. I think this is going to be a long year for us with 2 year olds. LOL [IMG]

It sounds like your mom had a rough day [IMG] Two has been interesting here. Sometimes it's great and other days it seems awful. This probably makes no difference there, but it's cold here and being trapped inside makes mine crabby! I hope today is a better day for you!

This is my world right now. Except both of mine throw huge fits (but hardly ever at the same time).
    Good luck.

Hopefully it was just "one of those days."

Michael was acting up last week. And now he has a terrible cold. I'm thinking he was acting up because he was starting to get sick.

Well, at least that is what I'm telling/convincing myself.

Hmmmm, sounds like this stuff is contagious. Ben caught it yesterday and today. He just better not give it to his sister.

Well, it has spread to this house, too. Nolan has had a couple of nice fits, I am chalking it up to his being almost 2 and to all the changes in his life lately (baby, no binky). I am frightened to see what happens when they finish at daycare this month!

Thanks for the reassurance ladies! [IMG] He was great yesterday and seemed to be doing well today. I guess it is just something to expect for the 2's! Some good days... and some not so good ones! [IMG] I am just relieved to know it isn't just my son (kids)!!
