Tenley & Delaney Monoamniotic Twins are here!

    I haven't posted in awhile - life has been so crazy!! I was pregnant with Mo-mo twins (monoamniotic monochorionic) and had to go inpatient at 24 weeks. My husband and I were very scared throughout the whole pregnancy but I'm happy to report that the girls were born at 31 weeks 5 days and are beautiful and healthy! The 2 month hospital stay for me and the NICU stay for the girls was very difficult but we got through it. The girls were saved by my inpatient stay, so I am so glad I was at the hospital for monitoring. They were born August 15th and spent 31 days in the NICU and both got to come home on their 1 month birthday! Tenley weighed 3 lbs 6 oz and Delaney weighed 3 lbs 5 oz. They are both around 7 1/2 lbs now! :)

    I really need to get on over to the Twins - The First Year forum and start reading up. This is all so new to my husband and I and more work than we thought it would be!! Not sure why we thought it'd be easier?!?

    Oh my gosh they are SOOOOOOO adorable!!!!! I am so glad they were born healthy - looks like the inpatient stay was totally worth it :) Congrats on the birth and I love their names!
