Ten months old today!

Ten months! Wow! Double digits! I told the girls this morning that they're getting old, haha.

As usual, a big month for Elizabeth and Alexandra. They're finally getting onto their hands and knees! Furthermore, Elizabeth is trying to pull up on everything, though she's not too good at it yet, and has been scooting around on her butt a bit. They are absolute social butterflies most of the time, smiling at everyone, laughing and making everyone around them happy. But they are going through some seperation anxiety right now and won't let me leave the room a lot of times.

They imitate me (and other adults) very well, and now both girls clap their hands and wave 'bye-bye', and sometimes when they're in the mood, peek-a-boo. Pinscer grasp continues to develop, and they feed themselves teething biscuits and anything large (toast for example). The girls get all either stage 3 food or, as I'm trying to work on it, incorporating table food into their diet. They get fresh fruit a lot, yogurt, wheat toast as mentioned, and their beloved organic teething biscuits.

The girls love one another. They interact more and more as the days go on. They play with eachother all the time, laugh at one another's babbling, hug, bite and hit (not so cute), kiss, and share (and steal) toys. It is truly amazing watching twins interact. They're the little loves of my life, and I cannot imagine life without them. They are so fully of personality, so happy, they brighten any day and any room. My god, they're such great kids. And to think, in two months we'll be celebrating their first birthday!

Oh, forgot to mention, they had a well-baby visit with the doctor Friday, and here's their stats, my peanuts!:

Elizabeth
Weight: 17lbs 10.4ozs, between 10th and 25th percentile
Height: 25inches, below 5th percentile
Head Circ: 45.2cm, between 50th & 75th percentile

Alexandra
Weight: 18lbs 1oz, between 10th and 25th percentile
Height: 26inches, below 5th percentile
Head Circ:44.6cm, between 50th & 75th percentile

It sounds like your little ones are doing awesome!!! They are so cute!! I know, when my girls hit 10 months I was blown away - they are almost one!!! It really does fly by (except for that first month...that month seemed to last forever!!! ha ha)!!

 

I agree with you! DOUBLE DIGITS! My kiddos are just 2 days away from it! It is almost time to think about the b-day party, but DH and I have decided to have a "we survived the first year party" instead!!!!

 

Mine are Ten months today as well, and I agree, this is just the cutest age! They are just amazing to sit and watch. They learn so much each day, and are the cutest copy cats! I just love watching them start to play and interact with each other. My heart just melts when they play peek a boo with each other. I was telling DH that we need to video tape this and save it to show to them when they are teenagers and fighting with each other!! What amazing little creatures they are!!!
