Tell Us How You Like This Forum!

As most of you know, the Second Year with Twins (SY) forum is new! We, as moderators, are all very excited about it and want to know how we can make this forum as successful as possible. We'd love to hear how you feel and any new ideas you might have to make participating in this forum an even better experience for you! Are there weak areas? What are our strengths? Should we stop doing something, or do more of something else? Any and all constructive criticism is being eagerly sought. We hope you will feel comfortable sharing. Now is your chance to really make an impact on the direction of this forum as it becomes more established!

Love it. I think many more of the posts pertain to me and my kids than the 1-4 forum did. Mods are great.

 

I think it was a great idea... I really think that it's great to have ages separated like this to be honest... I think we could use a third year forum as well...

I rarely posted in the 1-4 forum as it was just too spread out, and it seemed most people had older twins, so most of it didn't pertain to what I was going through, etc with my boys.

Now? I post A LOT more often than I ever did in the 1-4 forum. It's like I am back in the FY forum with questions, photos, etc. I respond more often to posts here as well.

I too wouldn't mind a 3rd year....4th year...LOL!

 

I like it but I sometimes miss the input from the moms who have BTDT.

 

LOVE it!! Its what the forum needed, I know a whole lot of us frequent posters had stopped posting because it all got lost in 1-4. I feel like I actually have something to contribute again! THANK YOU!!! :thanks:

 

I love it too!! The 1-4 was such a wide range of ages, it was hard to connect with others. I feel like I read, respond, and post much more now that it is separate! :thanks:

 

I have to ditto all of the pp's! :thanks: I just don't feel that we're ready for anties: haha I had to do that :lol:

 

I'm not as frequent of a poster as some others, but I do feel like I post here more than I did in the 1-4 group.

Yes, I do forget to check back in here! I do see that the Second Year-ers are more active now that they have their own forum, which is great! I'll try to remember to drop back in with my words of wisdom, such as they are.

I love it! I agree that things seemed to get lost in the 1-4 forum. I don't post a ton, but read and learn a lot. And I think the Mods are doing a great job!

I feel badly about rarely checking First Year and Expecting now that I've moved on...I probably have some BTDT advice to offer, but time is short, so I come here first.

 

the mods and the forum are AWESOME! i've been a member of ts for more than a year and a half but never really felt "at home" in any of the forums i posted in.... not the case here! i really like that there are a lot of posters but not so many that you can't get to everything.... tthe mods are helpful and all of us second-year-ers are just a little more relaxed and comfortable.... and of course, i really liked the confessions thread and it's s/o's! they make it feel more like a community to me (that said, i know i was in a tailspin all through the first year so i can't really judge this one against that one!). the mods are great! i think everyone's happy and you BETTER NOT TAKE IT AWAY FROM US!!!!!!!!

I love the SY Forum.. it is much easier to get around compared to the 1-4 year forum where my posts got lost. The mods are great & I get some excellent input, so I give it a thumbs up for sure & I love you girls! :good: :woohoo:

 

The SY forum is a great idea and I'm glad you all created it. I will admit, though, to missing some of the BTDT advice. My girls are so close to 2 that much of what's discussed in the SY doesn't pertain to us anymore, but I feel a bit like I'm invading the 2-4 Forum if I ask my questions there.

It is my second day here… and I think maybe my second post… I love it… the timing could not have been better (for me). I do remember wondering (way back when I first joined) if at the second year people got to bust and that is why there was a 1-4 forum… as my questions (w/ 12 m olds) might bore a mom thinking about kindergarten….

Thank you guys for your feedback!!! We are trying to come up with ways to get more moms to come back and give that BTDT advice we need and want. Keep the comments coming
