On average how long do your babies have pain and irritability from teething? My girls have no teeth and are almost 9 months old! They are acting CRAZY  today, so unlike themselves. They are so fussy and just want to be held, no one wants to play on the floor and they are drooling everywhere. It must be teething, they've got to get a tooth sooner or later, right? I just gave Amelia some Tylenol to see if that helps her but I was wondering how long this usually lasts? And are we going to go through this every time they get a tooth? I mean, we have lots of teeth so I hope not!

I've heard teething pain can happen for a while before you get teeth. So, I'm not sure exactly. Mine definitely had it bad for a week or two, then one and then a second tooth popped through on the bottom, close together. This was between 4 and 5 months old for them. I would recommend having Hyland's Teething Tablets on hand too.

My boys are 10 months now and they STILL don’t have any teeth, I swear that they’ve been teething for 8 months now. <_<

I found out this weekend when we were home for the holiday, that both Dh and I were late on cutting teeth, ugh!!!

My girls were fussy because of teething for probably 3 wks or so and it stopped once their two bottom teeth came in. Then they were fine for a month or so. Now they are starting to get the top ones in so I have a feeling they will be going through the fussy stage again. I give them tylenol about twice a day, before their morning nap and right before bedtime and that seems to help. It's hard when there are two fussy babies to take care of, but just remember it's temporary:)

We are experiencing this right now also. My girls are almost nine months. Claire is getting two teeth, the bottom ones now and is soooo fussy. Both teeth are popping through. She is usually so happy. I feel so bad for her. Gracie is also a little fussier than normal, but nothing is comign through yet. I have heard so many great things about hyland teething tablets I am going to buy some tomorrow.

My DS just got his two teeth in. He has been so ill for over a week. Natalie is the same way. She has 6 teeth. I recommend the teething tablets. I hope their teeth pop through soon.

I sswear Maia started teething when she was a couple months old and just got her first tooth on the 4th. I like the hylands teething tablets, orajel and frozen facecloths. Plus if they're really bad I'll give them tylenol during the day and ibuprofen at night.

Good luck! Hope they pop soon!

two weeks ago was the worst for us! The whole week was bad, then all of a sudden Jack's two bottom teeth popped up and Ryan's 4 top teeth dropped down. It was only bad for a week and now they seem fine. It was the same when Ryan's two bottom teeth came in at 6 months. Fussy for only about a week but drooly for a couple.
