Both babes have been STTN for 2-3 months now. In the last few days they have both been acting cranky, whiny, and DS`s usual 1.5 hour naps have changed to 30-45 min naps and nothing I do can get him back to sleep. He is teething is upper, middle teeth and they are big teeth. I can see the gums are red, so i`ve been giving him advil and cold teething rings but nothing is helping.

DD is VERY clingy and cries and screams a lot lately, her behaviour is off and she needs to be rocked to sleep and help more. I can`t see any teeth or feel any when I run my finger on her gums.

WTH is going on? Please any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds just like our guys when they are teething. They both have 8 teeth each already and are working on their molars and have been VERY cranky. Unfortunately, it sounds like you are doing most of what you can. You can try the Hyland's teething gel - that seemed to help for our guys some, too. Hang in there - those teeth will come through eventually!!

Awe - I am in a similar boat. Both boys have been doing well for a few months with sleeping - and recently both have been off. Especially Luke - he takes very long 2 naps consistently - and now we are lucky if he takes 2 naps at all. Sam is still taking 2 good naps, but then has trouble going to bed. Go figure! We are thinking it's teething again - but they both already have a lot of teeth already?? Then we are thinking maybe they want to move more - they still aren't crawling.

Good luck - hope it passes soon for both of us!

Same situation here. I got the amber teething necklaces and they have worked wonders! They are back to STTN and 100% less cranky.

We are in the same boat too! It like everything was going fine and then one day no one is STTN. I am really not liking all these speed bumps we are encountering. The worst part is that I am never sure if it is teething that is causing the issue or something else. After a week now I am hoping STTN is coming back soon!

Same boat here too...the last couple of weeks have been HORRIBLE for nighttime sleep and naps. Now one or both end up in bed with us at night and one or both on the couch with me for naps...bad habits I know but I'm TIRED! They are both getting the top 4 teeth but it seems to be taking forever!

I've heard about the amber necklaces, maybe they're worth a try.
