I think the girls are starting to teethe, so I bought some teething rings at Target. I thought they were supposed to go in the freezer, but the packaging says they should not be frozen, just refrigerated. Are there other rings that can go in the freezer? It seems to me that would be better because they would stay cool longer.

I have looked for those also and have only been able to find the ones that are to be refrigerated. Maybe we cold find them at Babys r Us-- they usually have everything!!

I haven't found any that go in the freezer. The ones we have just go in the fridge. (And don't stay cold for very long.) I haven't looked a whole lot because mine don't like them all that much cold.

I've heard not ot put them in the freezer because they don't want the babies to get frostbite on their gums. I think that's crazy, because it's not like they hold it on there long enough- just my opinion. I have put them in the freezer. Not problems for the babies, but one of the teethers leaked after ( I threw it away).

i put them in the freezer anyway. the girls LOOOVE them cold and suck off the condensation.

i THINK the reason they say not to put them in the freezer is because they could have sharp edges from them being frozen... if mine have ice on them (i rinse them and put them in the freezer wet, so the water freezes on them), i just chip it off and it's fine

I have seen ones that are made for the freezer because they say things like "Stays soft even in the freezer". I can't remember the brand but they look like they have crystals inside (that's the best way I can explain it) and I've bought them at Kmart and Babies R Us.

I only have refrigerated ones but sometimes I'll wet a wash cloth and put it in the freezer. They love that!
