Teething (PLEASE HELP)

One of our LO's is teething REALLY BADLY! He is up ALL night and we are at a loss as to what to do. We have given Tylenol, but it doesn't seem to help. I have heard mixed reviews on baby anbesol (sp). Has anyone used this? If not, what else did you use to ease the pain of teething?

Poor baby! I would actually give him Motrin instead of the Tylenol, I think it works better for teething and it lasts longer! Also, I have heard that the Baby Orajel Nighttime is really good, it has more of the pain numbing stuff in it than the regular kind. :hug99:

 

I was always nervous to give Ambesol in case they swallowed it then the throat would be numb. Motrin and teething tablets have done wonders for us during teething.

 

Yep baby oragel and ambesol and teething tablets work great! And tyelonel before bed!

 

I hardly ever used tylenol, what worked great for us was Hyland's teething tablets at TRU or BRU and baby oragel, I don't know if there is a baby anbesol. It helped them to sleep and the tablets instantly calm them if it is teething that is the problem. They dissolve right on the tongue, I gave them as early as 4months. GL!

 

I have used baby Anbesol & really couldn't tell that it helped at all. Motrin or Tylenol always worked better for us. Good luck!

 

I have heard a lot of good reviews on Hyland's teething tablets. I used Orajel and Motrin. Those always seemed to work well for me.

 

We go for the Tylenol or Motrin/Advil too.
