My guys have been drooling machines since they were 4 months old. I think ohh maybe they are teething. Nope. For the past two months they have been shoving their pudgy hands in their mouths. Maybe this time they are teething. Nope! These past few days I am shoving my fingers in their mouth to feel their gums. The bottom on both I feel a little rough patch. Their gums are more white then red, and I swear on Lucas I can see the outline of his bottom two. Maybe this time??????????

Why is this so complicated? :umm:

I think they can be teething for a long time before the teeth actually pop out.

Yep, Evan has been chewing on his fists since he was 3 months old! It takes a while.

Elliot never drooled and now has 3 teeth. Max who has drooled and chewed and moaned and drooled some more has none yet!

I thought my girls were teething for MONTHS before an actual tooth made an appearance. It sure sounds like teeth, but I am by no means an expert. I hope they come through soon!!

I would say it sounds like a tooth popping through. I know both of mine were drooling and chomping on hands months before a tooth appeared!

Teething is a LONG process that culminates with the teeth being seen. They probably have been teething since 4mo. You have to figure that those teeth are working their way through all that tissue - that is the part that hurts. When they pop through, the pain is gone!
