Hylands teething tablets (all natural) really worked for my boys along with frozen washcloths.

I have used Gentle Naturals homeopathic camomile drops with success. They are at Target.

the hyland's teething tablets are a miracle!! i use them when we've been away from home & they haven't napped well & are over-tired too- helps to soothe them so they can sleep. you can get them at walmart, walgreens, rite aid- places like that.

i also put dd's pacifier (ds doesn't take one) in the freezer.

Teething tablets are wonderful little magic "tic tacs". The boys just open their mouths up for them when they are needed.

Absolutely agree. And they usually do the trick long enough for them to fall asleep, and a lot of times they sleep all night. If not, we give them another 2 in the night, and they go right back to sleep.

Ditto! Teething tablets are the greatest. Orajel washes away too much with the drool. You can alternate Tylenol and Motrin too. Give Tylenol every four hours, then Motrin every four hours (starting two hours after the Tylenol).

We've also put teething rings in the freezer. They love it!

Hylands didn't work for my kids - they just made my DS throw them right up! Pedi said Tylenol every 4 hours is safe and Motrin for at night because it lasts 6 or more hours....

I LOVE these tablets!!!!!! I haven't found anything that works better! My girls are cutting their eye teeth and their first molars and I wouldn't make it through with these things. :)

Parents can make their baby feel more comfortable by providing something to chew on. A teething ring filled with water and kept in the freezer overnight works great. Ice acts as a local anesthetic by directly numbing the baby's gums. In addition, the pressure seems to soothe the gums. Be sure to choose a safe toy made for this purpose. Avoid teething biscuits and other foods, such as crackers and pretzels. They can break into small pieces and can cause the baby to choke. Even a frozen bagel becomes a choking hazard when it defrosts.

We also use the Hylands tablets. It's so funny, as soon as I come at DD or DS with the tablets, they open their mouths like little birds. They sure are trusting. ;)

We also bought those mesh-pacifier-like things (got the Sassy brand at Target) and put an ice cube in there or frozen grapes or frozen banana slices and they like to suck and gnaw on that.

Ok. I don't know what's going on here. I posted my reply but it didn't show up, so I'm sorry in advance if I end up with a duplicate post.

We use the teething tablets as well as put frozen apple pieces in the mesh feeder. They dont' like teething rings because they are cold on their hands plus they are a little too big and awkward for them to put in their mouths. They absolutely LOVE their mesh feeders though.
