Both of my boys have been really good eaters and love everything! Now for the past week or two they want nothing to do with meat or bread. I looked last night and Spencer is getting 3 molars in and Reece is getting 2 molars in. What can I feed them during this time? They will only eat fruit, veggies, oatmeal, and yogurt. No French toast, pancakes, chicken, fish sticks, ground beef. What should I give them?

It should all go back to normal once the teeth break through, what they take now is perfect, but keep trying to give them the rest also. Poor little guys, hope they are not suffereing too much. Don't worry, all of mine usually stop eating some of their favourites when teething also.

my girls stop eating a lot as well and right now they're getting their second molars, so eating has been quite a battle. i would continue to give them what they'll eat. it will pass soon and they'll be back to their regular eating habits. good luck!

Poor little dudes  I agree with the PP. Both of mine, their food intake would go down when they were teething like that. I used to try giving my two their dose of Tylenol about 30 to 60 minutes before meal time, sometimes it helped to take the edge off and sometimes, it did not help. Good luck and I hope those teeth pop through quickly for them.

Don't stress about what they're eating; if they're getting fruit, veggies, oatmeal and yogurt, they're eating a decent balance of foods! :good: Once those teeth pop through, they'll most likely go back to eating what they were before. :)

Ditto everyone else, don't push them but keep offering. Once their teeth come through they'll go back to eating normally. Well, as normal as a toddler can eat!

Just feed them what they want and it will all even out in the end. I read a study recently where they looked at vitamin levels in picky eaters compared to "good eaters" and there was no difference. My DS got all his molars AND all his canines coming through together and for days I swear all he ate was yogurt!
