my SWEET child was a NIGHTMARE today! 3 full-blown, vicious tantrums. it was unbelievable, really. i don't know if ti's cuz she has a cold (tho she never acts like that when she's sick), or cuz she's sleep deprived (again, she gets cranky and whiny, but not screaming tantrum-like) from waking up too early.
she hasn't had an actual tantrum in probably 2 years. today it's like she was possessed. seriously, this kid is always trying hard to please people, making sure everyone's happy with her, this was just so not her.
i just really hope she's back to her old self tomorrow!
    i just had to vent.
anyone else wanna vent? vent away! :)

I might need to vent later Danielle, I am riding solo on a class trip with both of my kids. But I wanted to give you a big  I think her issue is probably a combo of being sick and tired. Hope she is feeling better soon.

Big  to you!!! My guess is she's just not herself from being sick and tired...we all snap under those circumstances!

I have a 'locks herself in the bathroom so she can watch herself cry in the mirror drama queen'!! She threw an over hour long tantrum last night because I would not let her have marshmellows for dinner. :grr:

I bet it's the sleep/sick thing too.. whenever mine are feeling slightly off their heads start to spin on their bodies and I feel the need to call in a priest. Miles was sick for a few days and was totally unbearable yesterday. Last night he put himself to bed early and slept in a little bit today and is the most pleasant child. What a difference a little sleep makes!
