    HI everyone..
HOw do you handle a very loud talker in the middle of the night?
tehn eventually it leads to a cry.. I try not to pick her up but she wakes everybody up at night.
not sure what to do anymore.. luckily her brother can go right back to sleep.
    any suggestions.

We have one of those too. I think he gets it from my husbands side of the family :) I just let it go because its just talking and he will eventually go back to sleep. Sometimes i get up and turn the monitor down. It seems to happen less and less these days.

She's just practicing. I would let her talk until she gets talked out and drifts off to sleep. My 3 boys all share a room and James & David learned to sleep through Sean's very loud, nearly yelling babble. If she cries/fusses for less than 15 minutes just let her wind down. She probably realized she's tired and doesn't want to go to sleep - she wants to talk! If she seems really upset then you can go in, re-binky if you use them, pat and shush until she's more calm then leave. That works for us here.

We have a talker here too! He's only 4 months, and has been waking up every night for at least the last month and half to talk for about 20-30 minutes. He just talks and squeals (to his hands - I can see it on the video monitor) and then falls back to sleep! Occasionally, he will start to fuss after he's done practicing, but we just leave him. I know that since he woke up talking, he's just fine and I don't need to worry!! My problem is falling alseep while he's talking. At first I stayed up listening because it was so cute, but now I just turn the monitor down. His sister, in the crib next to him, sleeps through it just fine!

    Best of Luck!

thanks.. My son that is next to her eventually wakes up.. so I am not sure what to do. my husband who is really uptight.. runs up and gets her because he is afraid of waking his son. i feel htat she will just go through and let her stay in her crib and she will stop. i feel like the mroe she sees me the mroe she wakes up and the more you move her into antoher room/ it just gets to be a vicious cycle. my husband drives me crazy . he is avery light sleeper so he cant back to sleep.

I don't know how old yours are, but my DD did that from about 3-4 months and stopped. Sometimes, I still here her make noises, but not like she used to...maybe, it is just a phase.
