My girl is potty trained, has been for about a month now- with some issues still with going #2 but we are working on it.

However, my son has NO interest. I have not pushed at all. When he does pee on the toilet, like maybe before bed or bath, I praise him to the moon and back. His sister being in underwear has not motivated him at all.

Would love to hear what other's experiences are with boy/girl twins or siblings. Did yours train together or was your daughter miles ahead? should I be pushing a little more?

Becky444 told me yesterday that her DS isn't impressed with DD being trained, but he did use the toilet after watching MY DS do it yesterday at her house! So, peer pressure seems to be pretty big!

Bella started showing signs of potty training back in November..she would go on the potty a lot for poop and pee. She wanted underwear on like her 9 year old big sister..etc. We didn't push too hard with the holidays and such..I kept saying in January, we are going full force. Well come January...Bella was trainind in two weeks..if even that. I say two weeks cuz she only had two accidents and one was the second week.

Cam showed no interest. We did the sticker chart with Bella and she was thrilled. He didn't care. At that time, he was happy in diapers.

Well, like I said in PP, something clicked with him about 3 weeks ago. He got up one morning and put on underwear himself and has been in them since. He has only had a couple accidents and has even been waking up dry. He has done great. A lot of my friends with boys said that they really have to show you that they are ready. That is what Camden did.

Edit to add: as Diane said in PP, around the time that he decided he wanted underwear on..his little friend Cooper that is the same age and training was over our house. Cam kept going in with him and watching him go. My friend would show Cam how Cooper stands at the toilet and pees..etc. He seemed a lot more interested in watching him than watching his sister and that motivated him more.

Thanks ladies! Most of my friends have girls - but I have one friend with a son who is a few months younger than Archer. I think it is time for a boys play date!!!!

Mine are the exact opposite. DS has been fairly trained since 2.5 -- #2 issues as well. DD has NO interest. She will sit on the potty happy as can be, but nothing comes out so I figure developmentally, she must not be ready.
