I am taking my older sons to McDonalds and am wondering what I could give my twins to eat. They have been eating some finger foods, but I'm wondering if a cheeseburger is fine or chicken nuggets or is it just what ever I choose will be fine. I have given them pieces of meat and they have done fine with that. tia

I have taken DD out and just given the babies Cheerios to munch on.
I also brought a water sippy.
These are still new to my babies so they were excited about it and kept busy.
When we got home I would BF and/or give their normal solids.

Take puffs or wagon wheels for them to snack on.

Also, you could try a broiled chicken sandwich and cut it up for them (less grease than chix nuggets).

Personally, I'm trying to keep my girls away from the grease and fast food. They still LOVE veggies, fruits and meats. So I don't give them the other junk.

Simone, how did it go? Did they enjoy it?

I work at McDonald's, so I can give you some pointers.

Mine began eating the chicken nuggets around 14 months, but mine didn't have any teeth until after one. The chicken nuggets should be pretty easy to chew. You might could get a piece of grilled chicken, and cut it up in small pieces, it would be easier to chew than the nuggets, because the way we cook the grilled chicken, makes it tender. We put it on the grill and let it simmer with a little water, and turn it over, and let it simmer with more water until it is done... it is very tender!

Also, the fries are a good finger food. My guys LOVE those.

It went great! I gave the babies some of my chicken sandwhich and fries. They didn't eat much, but they didn't choke either. They just wanted a bottle. So I gave them that in between the food I was giving them.

Oh yeah, they drank some water through a straw I guess they are going to be like Trent. He had to use a straw because he couldn't get the hang of a cup until he was a little over 1. I use to buy drink boxes called 'Toddler's Best' I think they are now known as Pediasure. They have the same bear on the label.
