Taking one Nap

Ok, I think that my twins are wanting to move to one nap a day. Not a problem. Today they only took one nap and it only lasted 2 hours!! Is this normal? I would have thought that they would have slept longer.

Mine sleep anywhere from 2 hours to 4. Just depends on the day. 2 is normal for us though.

 

It appears that we are moving to that as well. Some days they will take 2 naps for 1.5 a piece and sometimes only the am nap for 2 hours and then they don't want to nap in the afternoon. I am trying to figure out how to transition them to one nap.

 

Mine just switched to one nap about 2 weeks ago. There are days they sleep 4 hours and days they only sleep 2.....just depends on how much sleep they got at night. I think its completely normal

 

Mine decided on their own to only take one nap for about 2 hrs each.

 

Mine switched around 19 months from two 2-hour naps to one 3 hour nap. These days, I am lucky if I get a nap out of them....

 

Mine started with one nap about 1.5 months ago. Emilie sleeps between 1.5-2 hours and Trevor sleeps about 3 hours (longer if I let him).

 

Mine usually only sleep 1.5 to 2 hrs at their one nap, however they will sometimes sleep 2.5 hours for the sitter. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if they slept 3-4 hours!! They do go to bed early, by 7-7:30, so maybe that's why their nap is shorter during the day.
