Yikes! They are only 19 1/2 months! Could they be ready for potty training already? I'm okay with it either way. I was planning on starting at 2, so this is just a little early. I just don't know how to be sure they are ready.

Probably not--it just means they are uncomfortable in dirty diapers. There is a huge difference between knowing BEFORE you have to go, and being uncomfortable in a dirty diaper.

The only thing you can do is try, to see if they might be ready! I had one that trained at about that age. I would put them in undies, take them often, and see how they do. If they don't do well, you can always go back to diapers for a few months, and then try again. Good luck!

Hmm, you can give it a try. At least introduce them to the potty. That was not an indication that mine were ready though.
