When did you start table foods with your twins? My two do well with puffies and the cheeto things that Gerber makes. I've given bites of rice an bites of other things bit never as a whole meal. They will be 9 months this week. Also what are some easy, healthy meals that you gave. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

We started things like whole cooked peas, etc., around 10-11 months. One of our boys was terrible for gagging, so we held off for a bit longer than I would like. We're still not on 100% table food because of soy intolerance, but we use things like canned veggies, steamed fresh veggies, fruit, yogurt, cooked chicken, etc. I look forward to when they can eat everything we eat!!

our twins are 10m today and I would say they have been eating full meals for about a month now. I don't know that there is a particular time that is better to start them just wait for their cues.

A&R started eating regular table food at 9 months. We hardly ever made them anything special, they would just have whatever we had to eat, just cut in appropriate sizes.

My girls were 8 months...they started refusing anything that came at them on a spoon so I was forced to make the jump. They did great and have been eating what we've been eating ever since :).

We still give purees and baby food at 8.5 months. They've had bites of table food but not a whole meal. They eat puffs too. My boys don't have any of have their teeth yet though, so I hesitate to give them anything chewy.

Shera- Willa Grace only has 2 bottom and a fang. Wyatt on the other hand has 2 bottom and 4 top teeth and Willa Grace does better eating than he does. Give it a try. I had a little girl in daycare didn't have a tooth in her little head til after a year old and she ate pancakes every morning for breakfast. It was super cute.

When we started my girls had only just had their 2 bottom teeth break through and they did fine.
