Hi all! Quick question — when you buy dinnerware, do you go more for the look or the everyday function? I mean, is table art actually usable, or is it just for show?

Hi! I totally get where you're coming from — it’s a balancing act. But good news: with luxury tableware and accessories, you can get both. For instance, Bernardaud’s Aux Oiseaux is stunning, full of French artistry, but it’s also practical enough for use at dinner parties. I serve guests with it all the time, and it always gets compliments without feeling fragile. If you want something functional but beautiful too, brands like Haviland and Raynaud hit that sweet spot. I did a ton of browsing before settling on a few key pieces from MDMAISON that combine style and usability. It’s totally doable to have table art that doesn’t just sit in a cabinet!
