    Anyone else with this?
Wish I had known sooner that this wasn't just something everyone feels during pregnancy.
I am at the bitter end so not much they can do about it now.
Csection is two weeks from today.
    YEA!!!

I have the exact same thing and I was diagnosed last week at 33 weeks. My doc prescribed Vicodin for the pain. We really can't do much about it until delivery which most likely will be a C-section (vaginal delivery exacerbates the problem). I opted to see a chiropractor last week (with my OB's blessing) and it has reduced the pain significantly. At least now I can walk and put some weight on my right foot. I'm going back again sometime this week. If you'd like to see one, make sure he/she specializes in prenatal adjustments and the Webster technique.

Sorry I feel your pain too. But the only thing we can do now is pain management. PM me if you need to talk.

During pregnancy, our bodies produce the hormones relaxon to open up the plvic area as it gets ready for birth. Apparently, some women produce excessive amounts of this hormones hence the pelvic area widens more than ts supposed to. Misalignment of the pelvis also causes or makes the condition worse. The usual symptoms are:

    - extreme pain while changing positions in bed, opening the legs wider
    - pain when sitting/standing up
    - pain while walking

This website provides more info and explains it better than I did.

My doc initially diagnosed it as round ligament pains which is not as bad as I was experiencing. Apparently it is more recognized in the UK and not here in the US

    HTH!

I wish I had known sooner that this was an actual condition and not just a normal pregnancy pain(how do you know if you have never been there before?)
I guess I just wasn''t clear enough with my Dr about the intensity of the pain.
Anyway, it is terrible and I am just trying to get through the rest of thsi week and next week at work, so that I have more time home with the babies.
It's too late now for prescriptions and such and I am not sure I would be OK driving on any of those things.
Although today I have been tossing around the idea of going home and staying put.
    I think I can persevere.
