    Oh my gosh....
My feet look like bricks! Or hobbit feet! My ankles and legs are very swollen, but when you look at me feet, they look two sizes larger than normal! I know I do a lot, and should rest more.... but even in the morning they are still big. Is this normal? My BP is fine, no protein in urine so far although I haven't had a doc appt. for four weeks. No swelling in hands or face either. I never had any swelling in my first pregnancy and I worked until I delivered.

    Thanks!

If you're worried about swelling and it came on quickly Id call your doc and see what theyd like you to do. After all they are the experts and thats what your paying them for!
At 29 weeks in I was seeing my doctor at least every 2 weeks!

I agree, seems like a long time between appts for twins at 29 weeks. I'd have them check you just to make sure. I didn't swell until the last 2 weeks (delivered at almost 38), but I know lots of people do it earlier. I put on almost 25 lbs that last 2 weeks though... all water! And I hurt. Felt like my skin was just going to split open everywhere! Seems it was a Biotherm product that my SIL rubbed on my legs that actually helped with the swelling some... gave me relief, anyway, in a different way than any lotion I'd tried. But I don't have any idea what it was called. She used to work for them, which is why I think that's where it was from. Might check at Nordstrom or another dept. store and ask.

I had terrible swelling with the boys (with Bella too) and was on a diuretic for most of my pregnancy because it was so bad (started at 22 weeks). Try to elevate your feet over your heart level (on the sofa make sure your feet are up on the armrest or some pillows so they are elevated above the level of your heart when laying flat down). When sleeping, and yes, this is a pain, make sure you elevate your feet in bed. Lots/tons/gallons of water...drink it. Be mindful of sodium intake...it's in everything so that may help some.

    Good luck!

I would call and ask your doc. if it came on fast. And try to elevate your feet more. And as for doctor appts. I went from 24 weeks to 29 weeks adn then I have one this week (32) and they said we'll see if you need to start every 2 weeks after your next one. So to me that wasn't that long inbetween.

 The swelling was definitely one of my least favorite things about being pregnant. I agree with all the PP's, call your Dr, keep your feet elevated and drink a ton of water! Good Luck!!

I would definitely talk to your doctor about any substantial swelling. I had terrible swelling (in my ankles only) with my singleton pregnancy, and ended up developing pre eclampsia at 36 weeks.
