I have noticed in the last few weeks that I have become very swollen down here. My "lips" seem so puffy. Is this normal?

I would talk to your OB but as far as I know it's totally normal. Happened to me with both pregnancies so I wouldn't worry unless it's uncomfortable - then ask your Dr and maybe there's something you can do. Mine told me it was completely normal :)

It comes and goes.. Soon you wont be able to see it at all... and then you wont know if it is swollen unless you touch or someone tells you... Mine is swollen too.. totally normal... I just wish i could see to trim...

It is normal and will come and go, I was sore most of my pregnancy, felt like I had been riding a bike all day. I was better if I was not standing alot or putting lots of pressure down there, try to sit in a cushy chair or use lots of pillows to help.

I am swollen too. My Dr said it was due to the increased blood flow.

I am glad to know it isn't just me! Even DH has noticed that I have grown in more places than just the belly!

I'm swollen too!!! I do think it was worse for me around 20-27 weeks... somewhere in that range. It doesn't bother me nearly as much now, but I still have it. I also have vulvar varicosity. That was much more painful than the swollen lips. I talked to my Doc about both problems and he said that they were both normal and nothing would help. He said that the vulvar varicosity is like a hemorrhoid just up front.... I asked if Tucks pads would help.... he said he doubted it. I never tried it. I also asked if support hose would work, he said no. So at least he was honest with me! He also told me it would only get worse, but for the past two weeks, I haven't hurt nearly as bad and have even started having sex again (I haven't been restricted yet.)
