We have recently switched to summer weight pjs and I was wondering what nightly "low" is warm enough to put them in short pant (along w/ short-sleeved top) pjs?? I think I prefer short sleeved shirt and long pants but I purchased a set of shorts for each and would like for them to wear them at some point. (I am almost always cold, so I wear long pants to bed even if I wear a short sleeved top.) The nightly lows this week are going to be mid to upper 50's. I have been keeping the thermostat set at about 74/75 at night...so the a/c comes on if it gets warmer than that.
Both boys get a small blankie in their cribs but either wad it up and put it under themselves or throw it out of the crib. So they aren't ever covered up...
    TIA

Our lows are in the mid-50's here and we have the thermostat set on 72. B-man and Mimi sleep in oversized t-shirts and diapers. They both have blankets in there beds, but usually won't use them. They are rarely ever cold when they get up and have sometimes been a little sweaty if they did have their blankets on.

I would probably wait for it to warm up a bit more consistently. Our high's are in the 70's-80's this week with low's in the 50's and I still put mine in a very light weight sleeper. I turned the heat off in our house a few weeks ago. I know myself I have still been sleeping under the covers.

I've been wondering about this too. When the lows were in the 50's I think I still put them in pants, the last few nights its been warmer and they've been in shorts. Mine don't keep covers on either, so I've been worried about them getting cold, but they always seem to be almost sweaty at naps, so I think they're little furnaces! Tonight is the first night we've turned the air on, but we set it at 76, so I still put them in shorts.
