Did you notice when you stopped giving formula to giving whole milk, a huge decrease in cost? Did you switch right at 1 year or did you continue with formula for a little longer?

I switched at 9 months, at my doctor's advice, to 2%. Yes, BIG decrease in price!!

[SIZE=10pt]I wouldn't say a huge decrease in cost. We were using Kirkland brand formula and it lasted about 8-9 for $20.00. When we switched to milk it went to using a gallon every 2 days at $2.75 a gallon. So we started saving roughly $35-$40 each month.

My two LOVE their milk though. They will drink it all the time if I let them ;) We seem to be using more diapers these days with all the food they eat, so any amount that we saved on formula now goes to diapers :D

Seriously? Definitely. We were spending around $75/month on formula and went to spending about $15-20 on milk.
