Okay, so here's my dilemma... me...being the total crazy person who gets excited about planning bdays...bought spongebob themed invites for Parker's 2nd bday (that's all he could say at the time and really showed interest in) about 2 months ago. :p I filled most of them out (around 25-30) because i knew i would be in school so i didn't have to worry about them too much. I also ordered a spongbob bouncer for his bday just so i had that taken care of. Now, my dilemma is Parker has fallen in love with Elmo! Elmo this and Elmo that! " Let's watch a movie guys"....Elmo, Elmo, Elmo! I mean IN LOVE with the little red monster. He still likes spongebob, but he gets so darn excited everytime Elmo is talked about. So should i just bite the bullet and buy elmo invites and call the bounce house place to switch my bouncer to Elmo or should i just keep it with Spongbob? I need some good input and fast because i would really like to send out the invites by Oct. 1st....Thanks guys!

I'd say if the bounce house company isnt going to charge anything to change it.... and you have the time to re-write all the invites, you should change it! It would be a different story if you had bought a whole bunch of decorations that needed to be exchanged, but if its just the invites and the bounce house, I would change it.

    i agree, new invites....no biggie

if the bounce house people won't charge, switch. if they do, be prepared to say the elmo one was taken in case anyone asks... :)

I totally understand the craziness, so I too would switch. Elmo was a BLAST at S&E's 2nd birthday a few months ago!!

ETA: If you do switch to ELMO...I saw a bunch of sesame street plates/bowls/cups in the paper product isle at the grocery store the other day. They were sooo much cheaper than the ones you get at the party stores, and were really cute. The cups even came with lids and straws!
