My boys are 2 and 3 months. I just bought them this swingset:

Im worried now that it may be too big boyish for them...I know it will take some getting used to, like the climbing to get up the ladder to the slide, but I would love some opinions on what you have or plan to get.

    Thanks!!

I don't think it is too big. You can always switch the swings to a glider they can both get on. There are also other types of swings and such you can customize with. They will grow into it.

I have older children so we intend to get something similar.

That's a nice set! I think they will grow into it. At the very least, you can place them at the top for them to slide down. But in my observances, two year old boys can get up most anything! :)

That is very similar to the one we have. My boys love it. They love to go up the ladder and down the slide. I did buy toddler swings to go on it though.

I would probably rig something around the platform at the top of the slide and switch out the swings for something a little more restraining for now but it looks like a great investment! They can use it for years!

Mine are the same age as yours (one day older actually) and we're going to wait another year before getting a big set-up like that. For now we have one of the plastic climbers and toddler swings hanging from a tree. I love that I can let them play in the yard without needing to hover around them. I can sit outside and read a magazine and intervene when needed, and they play really well on their own. With a big swingset with a big ladder and a big slide I'd feel that I needed to be right there all the time.

Let us know how it works out.

WOw what a bargain. Its a nice set. You will probably have to help them up the slide a bit but sometimes kids just amaze you and find away. Hope they enjoy it!!

It's almost exactly like the one we installed when the boys were 1.5. By the end of summer (before they turned 2) Michael was climbing the rock wall with ease and Matthew was climbing the ladder. We did change the swings to infant/toddler swings and they loved to swing too. We got a ton of use out of it that summer and so will you.
