Hello everyone! I have a quick question for you! My hands are staying swollen over these last few days and I am concerned about wearing my wedding rings. Did you guys have to take yours off or did you get to wear them the whole time? My fear is getting too swollen and then someone having to cut them off...I know this is a weird question but just something I thought about!

My hands haven't gotten swollen yet and im 29 weeks but with my first pregnancy my hands were always swollen and I took my wedding rings off ..I would say to take them off just so you don't have to worry about them being cut off

OMG my hands are swelling too and I'm only 11 weeks right now. I thought if I'm swelling now, I cannot imagine how bad it will be as I get further along. THEN I remembered I ate alot of salty foods yesterday and today so I suspect that's the culprit. Soon I will remove my wedding rings.

Mine are not swelling regularly, but because we live in Houston the fluctuation of temperature and dryness and humidity make me swell some days.

My first pregnancy I had to take my rings off by 20 wks or so. My dd I kept my ring on until the night before my c/s. So far this time with twins I am 25 wks and still have my wedding ring on, no swelling in my hands yet! :)

I took my rings off when my hands stared swelling pretty regularly. I'm more comfortable with them off, and I don't have to worry about my circulation being cut off. At first it was weird after 8 yrs to not have them on anymore.

I hardly wore mine anyhow (I know, I'm a bad wifey!) but I had to totally give them up around 25 weeks. My hands still aren't REALLY swollen, but enough that my rings feel like shackles (I think it's a mental thing). However, I've always been one to take off all my jewlery as soon as I walk in the door from dinner/church/parties/whatever. It just makes me feel confined.

Also, being in the hospital since 26 weeks, I didn't want to run the risk of my rings disappearing, so they're tucked away safely at home (at least that's what DH tells me :D ).
